Manual Diversified Adjusting Technnique

This is the most commonly used of all chiropractic techniques and is the manual therapy technique that most Chiropractic patients are familiar with. The diversified adjustment usually involves a quick, shallow thrusts that often causes a popping noise commonly associated with a Chiropractic adjustment.

This noise is known as a cavitation of a joint. This cavitation style adjustment, which is a release of gas in the joint space, can provide great relief and is only used when safe and appropriate. As the name implies, the diversified technique can be used to adjust many of the joints in the body, not only the spine but also joints in the arms and legs.
